Ekiti On Lockdown As Fayose Imposes Dusk To Dawn Curfew


Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose on Tuesday declared a dusk to dawn curfew in the state what he said is to avoid crisis that might arise from the declaration of the result of the Saturday's presidential election.



Also, the governor urged Nigerians to accept the outcome of the Saturday's presidential election in good faith.

He described the result as the will of God.

The results so far announced by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) indicates that the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Retired Gen. Muhammadu Buhari is cruising to victory. Only two states are now left for the election to be called.

Fayose said the curfew effective with immediate effect is between 7.30pm to 6am.

He said those who would like to celebrate the victory should do so within the confines of their rooms.
