According to a report by Vanguard,
Boko Haram is currently in disarray following shortages of fuel and
weapons. The situation is said to be causing tension between the
terrorist group’s leaders and foot soldiers.
Some
of the women who were rescued from Boko Haram’s hideouts recently,
reportedly stated that the terrorists had started complaining to
captives about lack of guns and ammunition last month. According to
their account, many of the militants have had to start carrying sticks
as weapons. Also, alot of their vehicles have reportedly broken down or
lack petrol. Consequently, many of them now move around on foot.
