11-Year-Old Nigerian Girl Storms the List of 100 Most Influential Africans
Nigeria has dominated the list of TOP 100 most influential people in Africa, published by New African Magazine.
One
of the most notable among 23 Nigerians who made the list is an
11-year-old Nigerian girl, Zuriel Oduwole.Zuriel, whose Hebrew name
means ‘For God is my Rock’, was featured in the magazine for her fight
for the education of women.

Mozambique Airlines plane crashes in Namibia, killing 33 people
A Mozambique Airlines plane carrying 27 passengers and 6 crew members
crashed in Namibia today Saturday November 30th, killing all on board,
local media reports.
The Brazilian-made Embraer 190 aircraft left Maputo and was heading to Luanda when it crashed in a remote border area near a Namibian national park, Mozambique authorities said. The plane was carrying 10 Mozambicans, 9 Angolans, 5 Portuguese, and one citizen each from France, Brazil and China, plus six crew members, including two pilots, three flight attendants and a maintenance technician, the airline said today.
Investigators are now trying to determine the cause of the crash.

Few minutes before Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker died in a car accident yesterday, he posed next to the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that exploded on impact in the deadly accident. TMZ reports that this pic above was taken just 30 minutes before the accident.
Paul had put together a car show charity event in Santa Clarita, CA. through his ReachOut Worldwide organization, to support typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines and was leaving the event in the red Porsche car when his friend lost control and slammed into a tree. Deji of Akure, Oba Adebiyi Adesida, dies at 63
Oba Adesida became Deji of Akure just three years ago in 2010 after the previous Oba, Oluwadare Adesina Adepoju, was dethroned and banished by the Ondo state government for physically attacking his wife and pouring an unknown substance on her skin.

Willie Obiano of APGA declared winner of Anambra Governorship election
All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), candidate Willie Obaino, has
been declared winner of the recently held Anambra State governorship
election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission
(INEC) Anambra chapter declared today Sunday December 1st in Awka that Mr. Obiano won the election by
polling 180,178 votes in 19 local government areas in the state. He beat PDP candidate Tony Nwoye, to the second
position with 97,700 votes and Senator Chris Ngige of the All
Progressives Congress, who came third with 95,963. Ifeanyi Ubah, of Labour Party came fourth with 37,495.
