Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into law a bill that forces relatives of terrorists to pay for damages caused by their attacks. It also boosts penalties for launching, participating, or financing militant or terrorist groups.Russian President Signs Law Requiring Terrorists’ Relatives to Pay for Damages
Under the law, all damages – including moral damage – should be compensated “at the expense of the means of the person committing the terrorist act and also at the expense of the means of his [or her] family, relatives and close people.”
The term “close people” refers to those whose lives, health, and well-being are valued by the terrorist, due to the terrorist’s personal relationships with the individuals.
The law also stipulates that there should be “sufficient reasons” to believe that they received money, valuables, and other property as a result of terrorist activities, or that they generate income from such property.
Moreover, a special mechanism is being created to check the lawfulness of the property of terrorists’ relatives, meaning that the FSB will be given the right to demand such information.
If relatives and close acquaintances of suspected militants fail to provide documents proving their rightful acquisition, the law allows for the seizure of such property.
There is now a limitation of action under this law, which means it could be implemented regardless of the remoteness of a crime.
Harsher punishments for terror activities introduced
The maximum penalty for taking part in trainings with an aim of carrying out terrorist activities, as well as participation in terrorist networks, is currently 10 years in prison and a fine of up to 500,000 rubles (US$15,700).
Individuals convicted of organizing a terrorist network can receive 20 years in prison and be ordered to pay a fine of up to one million rubles ($30,800).
Penalties have also been increased for launching, leading, or financing militant groups, with a maximum jail term of up to 10 years (previously up to seven years).
Participation in such groups, including those based abroad, is punishable by up to six years in jail. Until Sunday, the crime was punishable by a maximum of three years in prison, and the law only referred to Russia-based networks.
A special federal body is being created to coordinate the actions of the country’s counter-terrorism structures at all levels. The body’s decisions will be final.
The law was proposed to parliament by Putin’s office on September 27. It was approved by the State Duma – the lower house of parliament – on October 25 and by the Federation Council – the upper house – on October 30.

Unbelievable Photo: Man Sleeps With Best Friend’s Skeleton For 13 Years

A 47 year old man from Brazil has been found living with the skeleton of his best friend who died 13 years ago.
Fabio Beraldo Rigol moved in to the cemetry after going broke and being abandoned by his family over his drug addiction.
The former broker only leaves to go into Santa Isabel, Brazil, to ask for food. He claims he found himself penniless and homeless after his business folded and he started using drugs .
He said: “I’m more afraid of the living than the dead. I’ve never seen a ghost. It gets a bit quiet here sometimes, but I’m not a big talker, so it suits me. I’m not very good around living people.
“I had to leave the house, and I ended up wandering the streets. One night it was raining hard. I don’t remember how, but when I woke up I was here in the graveyard.”
On most days he leaves the graveyard to ask for food in the town centre.
He said: “When it’s raining I stay inside. I never want for anything. When I need people there is always someone who gives it to me. God never lets me go hungry.”
But Mr Rigol said he doesn’t intend to stay in the cemetery until his own time comes.
He added: “I want to get out of here alive. I still want to have my own house, even if it’s just a bedroom and a bathroom. I want to go back to work if there’s a chance. My live hasn’t finished yet.”

Two Women Abduct 33-Year-Old Man, And Defile Him

A 33-year-old man was allegedly held at gunpoint and forced to have s*x with a woman in the backseat of a car after the woman’s female companion offered him a ride on the Near North Side over the summer.

ciera-final
The man begged one of his tormentors — who demanded he place his hands on her br**sts and buttocks during the July 26 attack — to stop, it was reported.
He eventually escaped, running out of the car unclad from the waist down and into a taxi where a cabbie helped him and drove him home to the suburbs, in Chicago.
The man had been walking in the 400 block of North Kingsbury early that morning when 25-year-old Cierra Ross allegedly pulled up to him and offered to give him a ride.
While she was driving, Ross pulled out a black revolver and ordered the man, who was in the passenger seat, to get in the back and have s*x with her friend.
The woman in the backseat demanded that he take off his clothes and the man complied by taking off his shoes, pants and underwear before he was assaulted.
The two women also took $200 from the man, his credit cards and iPhone, according to a police report.

Hold My Husband Responsible If I Die, Wife Of Enugu Gov Tells NHRC

Mrs. Clara Chime
Mrs. Clara Chime
Wife of Enugu State Governor, Mr. Sullivan Chime, has called on the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) to deliver her from her husband.
In a petition to the commission, Mrs. Clara Chime accused the governor of an abusive relationship that has led to her suffering from depression, adding that the governor has locked her up in a room and denied her access to her four-year-old son and visitors.
The petition of the governor’s wife read:
“I have been married to Governor Sullivan Chime for five years. It has been a somewhat tempestuous relationship, which has virtually irretrievably broken down in the past couple of years.
“We do not have a relationship anymore and the situation inevitably led to my nervous breakdown. I have been diagnosed with severe depression and at some point was quite suicidal.
“The strategy of my estranged husband is to subject me to the most horrific and intolerable of conditions to cause my demise but my strength and will to live has kept me alive. It is very difficult to outline everything happening to me here but I shall enumerate the major issues below:
• Not had s*xual relationship with my husband for four years;
• Deprived of all my responsibilities as a wife;
• Prevented from bonding with my four-year-old son;
• Barred me from receiving visitors, whether family or friends;
• In the last three weeks, a lady friend who visited me was stopped from seeing me and the result is now complete incarceration from the outside world;
• In effect, I am locked up in my bedroom, without access to anybody.
“I am only allowed food but no access to fresh air; I have been locked up because I demanded to leave, even without my son. Governor Chime recently revoked my land allocation; the governor is doing everything possible to break my will.
“All I want and demand is to be allowed to leave. If I have committed any crime, I request that due process should be followed. I was also recently attacked by my husband before the visitor mentioned above who is a living witness and will be prepared to testify.
“I am falsely being imprisoned and the state House of Assembly should be made (to be) aware of this.
“My husband pays a doctor to inject me with all sorts of drugs. I have the capacity to decide whether or not I need the treatment. On occasions where I had refused the medication because of the intolerable side effects, I was restrained and given it against my will. All my rights are being violated.
“I would also wish the Nigerian Medical Council be informed of the activity of this doctor who is only interested in my husband’s wishes and does not care about my suffering. Medical confidentiality is not part of this doctor’s tool.
“I have tried to leave and was pushed back by the security agents and it is clear I am unable to do so except through other intermediaries.
“My passionate plea is to be allowed to leave peacefully as I no more wish to exist under this prevailing state. In the event that I die, please note that this must have been brought about by my husband. I wish to make it categorically clear that I have no intention of taking my own life. I have completely lost trust in my estranged husband.
“The possibility of the doctor injecting me with a lethal substance must never be underestimated. I have a friend who is a good friend of the family and would collaborate a lot in the event of any mishap to me and wish not to mention the name but he would contact you ultimately.
“I am begging you to help facilitate my release and bring my suffering and ordeal to an end.”

Strong indications have emerged that the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, may end in the next one week, following a 13-hour meeting than ran from Monday afternoon into the early hours of Tuesday, between the union and the federal government.
The meeting which was led by President Goodluck Jonathan, had the leadership of ASUU, Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, all present, with sources saying after the meeting that both the Federal Government and leaders of ASUU had shifted grounds and leaders of ASUU would meet with its National Executive Council to brief members on the outcome of the meeting and then take necessary action.
“Both the Federal Government and the leadership of ASUU are now on the same page. Both parties have shifted grounds. The leadership of ASUU will now meet with its appropriate organ to brief its members and take the necessary action.
“ASUU is in the right position to inform the public after meeting with its organ. However, I can tell you that all things being equal, the strike should be over in the next one week,” a source told Vanguard.
The meeting between the government and the labour leaders started at about 2:30pm on Monday and ended at about 3:30am on Tuesday with a 15 minutes break.
Speaking after the meeting, National President of ASUU, Dr. Nasir Isa Fagge, told newsmen that his delegation was taking back a message from President Jonathan to their members.
He however declined to disclose what the message was and when asked whether he was satisfied with the outcome of the meeting, the ASUU leader told journalists not to put words in his mouth.
“We have had a lengthy meeting with Mr. President, rubbing minds on how best to address the problem of university education in this country.
“We now have a message from Mr. President that we are going to take to our members and we are expecting that our members will respond appropriately to his message,” Fagge said.

8 SHOCKING Reasons Why self service Is BAD For You

self service plays a big role in a normal s*x life. Some of us discover it as children because it starts to feel so good between our legs. Others are shown by our friends.
We continue to self service because it feels so good. It gets us ready for mature s*xual relationships when we reach adulthood, and it helps us take care of those raging hormonal urges and surges when we are teenagers. self service can enhance mature s*xual relationships where two partners use it either as a prelude to other s*xual activity, or as the main fare. And it keeps us going when relationships falter, such as when a partner is ill or away. It is a great equalizer in a relationship where one partner needs more s*xual activity than the other.
man7
self service is a healthy s*xual behavior. Like other behaviors, when over practiced or addicted it can lead to both psychological and physiological imbalances.
The side effects of such changes to the body include:
Fatigue. Feeling tired all the time
Lower back pain
Thinning hair / Hair Loss
Soft / Weak Erection
Premature Ejaculation
Eye floaters or fuzzy vision
Groin / Testicular Pain
Pain or cramp in the pelvic cavity or/and tail bone
Over self service can pose serious threat to s*xual and over all health, curing these effects with herbal supplements is safe as herbs do not have side effects and are quick to alleviate the problem. self service has been a way of satisfying s*xual desires for both males and females since a long time, it is estimated that 94% of males and 64% of females practice self service. To an extent it is treated as harmless and even good for health but when the frequency of self service goes beyond the tolerance limit of body organs then its effects are dangerous if left untreated.
The biggest effect of over self service is mental rather than physical, person in habit of it gradually shifts away from normal intercourse and finds self service more satisfying and pleasurable. People in habit of it always seek few moments of loneliness to self service, even slightest arousal can make them aroused and they may feel the urge to discharge. This situation can promote problems like low libido, ED and lack of climax. Other then these problems people in the habit of over self service may face the problems like prostatitis, weak parasympathetic nerve, distressed liver, semen leakage, premature ejaculation, s*xual exhaustion, impotence and low sperm count.
# How much is too much self service?
That depends but it’s suggested men keep their ejaculation frequency down to 2-3 times a week. However, s*xual activity can be experienced more often if men learn how to climax without ejaculation. Doing so can actually store bioenergy into your system and make your man-hood firmer, your erections last longer, and your release volume bigger.
self service is a part of life and our s*xual practices. In fact, most doctors recommend it, not only to improve s*xual experiences but to also promote good general health. However, like most things in life, too much of a good thing can be bad. Excessive self service can lead to symptoms like stress, fatigue, and memory loss. In extreme cases, sufferers fall into the pitfalls of impotence and hair loss.

Ruggedman vs Abuja promoter part 2. Promoter tells his side of the story

You guys already read Ruggedman's version of events (If you missed it, check on it HERE) Now it's the turn of Abuja promoter, Ejiro Okhipwo. He just sent me a statement. Read below....
First of all, I'm embarrassed that this man, Ruggedman, could bring himself so low by exposing his own shame publicly in the media. I'm embarrassed because no artiste could have done what this guy did to us even when we felt we were doing him a big favour. Look, I have organized several editions of this event, and different artistes have graced our event, but we have never been swindled before.  This is our first experience, and unfortunately, it's an artiste who has lost audience appeal that did this to us. I had wanted to let this pass, but since he has gone to humiliate himself in the media, I will follow this up. I'm consulting with my lawyer at the moment, and we may be suing ruggedman for defamation of character, and his failure to heed to our earlier agreement with him.

Inspiring story! Pregnant at 18, best graduating student at 25

Found this amazing story on Punch. Read and be inspired
Seven years after an unwanted pregnancy forced her to drop out of the University of Ilorin, Aishat Farooq emerges the best graduating student of the Bells University of Technology, Ota, Ogun State, reports Temitayo Famutimi
When Aishat Farooq gained admission into the University of Ilorin at 15, to study Zoology, little did she know that she was not going to be an alumnus of the institution. That was in 2003.
Despite the fact that she was a high flyer in her first two years in UNILORIN, the now 25-year-old indigene of Ilorin West-Local Government Area of Kwara State got distracted along the line. She played the campus love game and got a shocking result: she got pregnant. It was in 2006 and in her third year. She was pregnant for a fellow student whom she had been dating. She was disappointed in herself and thought the whole world was crashing on her.  Yet, she vowed not to terminate the pregnancy.
Although she wanted to continue her studies in the university,  she became disillusioned and dropped out at 18. She sought consolation in trading.
But her father, Mr. Shehu Farooq, who believed that his daughter’s academic prowess should not be wasted, was determined to get her back on the academic track.
Today, Aishat has a different story to tell. On Saturday, she stood tall among her peers at the 5th convocation ceremony of Bells University, Ota, Ogun State, where she emerged the overall best graduating student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 4.93.
“The rebel in me won,” she declared while giving the valedictory address on behalf of the 208 graduating students of the university.
“I hope my story will inspire at least one person to change his or her circumstance. I was pregnant at 18 and by 19 I was already a mother. I had disappointed my father who believed so much in me. He had such big dreams for me and feared the dreams would become unfulfilled,” she added.
Breaking the news of the pregnancy to her father,  who was at the time based in the northern part of the country, was not easy. Aishat’s mother, Fatima, who stayed in Lagos with the family, did not break the “sad news” to the man until the lady was almost due. The mum feared her husband would be too angry.
Fatima narrated to our correspondent, “Looking back, we knew her to be very brilliant. But all of a sudden she got pregnant. Though her father and I were always discussing on the telephone, I hid it from him. Whenever he said he would  be coming to Lagos to visit us, I  would quickly chip it in that I would  like to be the one to visit. So, I ensured I was the one always visiting him.
“That was how I managed the situation until the pregnancy was eight months. But even when we broke the news to him, he felt really bad. Although there was nothing he could do, he couldn’t go out for three days.”
Aishat studied Business Administration with specialisation in Human Resources Management, and received the Vice-Chancellor’s Prize for the Overall Best Graduating Student with a cash reward of N50,000 and a plaque. She also won the College of Management Sciences Prize and Department of Business Administration Prize for the Best Graduating Student.
Speaking with our correspondent after she received the awards, Aishat, whose face beamed with smiles, expressed gratitude to her dad for not losing hope in her during her trying time.
She noted that the popularly-held notion that the child that goes astray belongs to the mother, while the good ones belong to the father, was not applicable in her situation as her father did not give up on her.
Asked why her dad had so much hoped in her, she stated that her history of academic excellence from childhood right to the university was a major driving force.
Aishat, who attended Nazareth Nursery and Primary School, Lagos; Penny International College, Lagos and Model Secondary School, Maitama, Abuja,  said she bagged several academic awards while growing up and noted that she secured admission to UNILORIN the same year she completed her secondary education.
She noted, “I did exceptionally well and bagged awards in the schools I attended. I had the overall best result at the Senior Secondary School Certificate level at Model Secondary School, Maitama, Abuja. In fact in UNILORIN, I was on the first class grade in my first year but in 200 Level, I dropped to second class upper division because I had already started getting distracted by the boys.
“It just happened that things turned out the way it did. But here I am, a product of God’s unending mercies, unconditional love and grace – all coupled with the faith my dad had in me and my fierce determination.
“I’m a goal getter. I push myself hard. Even here (BELLSTECH) in spite of being a mother, I was pushing for the best despite the challenges. I wanted to make my dad proud again. Once you are determined, nothing is impossible. Nothing can stop you.”
She said her decision to study Business Administration as against the sciences, which she was studying in UNILORIN, was informed by her two-year experience in the world of business after she dropped out of university.
She explained that incessant strikes by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, however, informed her decision to attend a private university. “Age was no longer on my side and I wanted to do it fast. And my dad could afford it because he was a businessman,” she added.
Asked if she was involved in any relationship at the Bells, she explained that she was a popular “snob” on campus because the majority of male students were younger than her. Besides, she did not want to get distracted or disappoint her parents and herself again.
Aishat,  who has been posted to Lagos State to observe the mandatory National Youth Service Corps scheme, said, “If you ask around you will be told that I was a snob. My favourite spot was my room. I rarely went out of the room for social events. I went to mosque. However, when I contested for the president of my departmental association, Business Administration Students Association, the Nigerian system worked against me.
“I lost to my male opponent. Although I had plans to take some giant strides if I won,  especially in the academic aspect for my fellow students, the fact that I was not the  type of person who hangs out worked against me. I didn’t have a social life.”
She said she has no plans for marriage for now. She wants to pursue a master’s degree programme in Human Resources in the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. She added that she also plans to work in a corporate environment to garner experience and afterwards go back to the university to teach “as a way of giving back.”
The second child in a family of eight children, Aishat brought her six-year-old son, Damilola, to the convocation. It was, however, learnt that the Edo State-born father of the boy has since got married to another woman.
She noted that her major challenge on campus was the randomness of classes which denied her the opportunity of spending quality time with her son while her stay in the university lasted.
“We had visiting professors who came into the campus at anytime. Although we had schedules, many of them had a bit of flexible time.  Sometimes on Sunday when I took permission to visit my child in Lagos, my classmates would call me up on the phone that there  was going to be a class. Because attendance is very important, I had to rush down. This affected me a little,” she added.
Aishat’s father advised parents to give their children and wards the best of tutelage and close monitoring. He noted that he least expected the feat achieved by his daughter as he was at a time disturbed that “she could no longer make it.”
Asked if it was  lack of adequate monitoring that made Aishat go astray at UNILORIN, he said,  “Let’s just say that is how God wants it. You see,  70 per cent of the fault is on us the parents. Parents should give their children good supervision and tutelage. With this, they cannot derail. I thank God for her because it’s is not easy to have raised her from grass to grace.
“I screamed on the phone the day I learnt she was pregnant. I started asking questions: When, where and how. I burst into tears. But today, she is a new being. And I know the mistake will not repeat itself. My expectations for her are that she should fly higher and higher.”

Ghen ghen! Don Jazzy calls Wande Coal out on Twitter, says he stole his song

..
Some of you didn't know this, but Wande Coal left Mavin Records a while back. A few hours after Wande released his new single, Baby Face, Don Jazzy took to twitter to call him out. He's basically saying the song, Baby Face, is his and Wande stole it from him. Don Jazzy even posted a link to his own version of the song on Twitter. See it after the cut...

Listen to it Don Jazzy's version below...

Wande Coal's Baby Face producer Shizzi speaks out on controversial song

Top music producer, Sheyi 'Shizzi' Akerele, who produced Wande Coal's version of the controversial
song 'Baby Face', which Don Jazzy says was stolen from him, has released a statement explaining his involvement in the whole issue. He mentions that he produced Wande's hit song 'Go Low' which he never got credit for. See his statement below...
I have heard and seen some folks rants about me stealing production credit for Wande Coal's new single "Baby Face" and I would like to clarify this issue. I was only doing my job by making the beat for Wande and that's what I did. I don't see any reason why people should jump into quick conclusions without taking their time to really dig into the matter for facts.
Two years back, I remember I created a demo for Wande Coal's "Shawty Go Low" and someone else took the credits. I was in shock because I had plans to finish the song with Wande and was hoping it would be released as a single which I produced. Here is the link to the original version of "Go Low"

Wande Coal releases original studio demo version of BabyFace he did with Don Jazzy

More on the song controversy. Wande Coal just released a studio demo version of Baby Face which he says he recorded with Don Jazzy last year.

Davido’s bodyguard reportedly gets involved in club fight

I don't know what the facts are, but people who were at the club have tweeted about the incident. The fight reportedly occurred in the early hours of Monday morning after Davido's performance at the Colourful World of More Concert. The singer and his crew went to a club to chill and a fight later on allegedly ensued between Davido's bodyguard and the club bouncers. Like I said, I don't know what the details are but continue to see some tweets from two people who seem to have witnessed the fight
